About Us

Friends Academy of Japanese Children's Society was established in Manhattan in 1997 in response to the growing demand for Japanese language education for children. Since then, we have supported many children in their journey to learn Japanese. 

Our school offers a variety of programs designed to meet the needs of children at different stages, from introductory Japanese to high school level. Each child learns at their own pace, with tailored goals.

Friends Academy is committed to providing a fun, nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. We continue to enrich our programs to support children whose first language is Japanese, those striving to become bilingual, and those interested in Japanese culture.
